Tt eSports is Thermaltake’s gaming focused peripheral brand created in 2010, carrying headsets, keyboards, mice and other accessories, and is a prominent brand in eSports, sponsoring teams in Starcraft 2, Dota 2 and many others.
Today, we have the pleasure of taking a look at the Tt eSports Talon Blu, a budget-friendly gaming mouse with premium features. Can this mouse deliver a pro-level gaming experience, living up to the eSports branding at a budget price? Let’s find out!
TT ESPORTS TALON BLU OVERVIEW
The packaging has a matte finish, with the printed picture of the mouse being somewhat glossy, the outer carton is somewhat thin though, something to be expected of a mouse under $20. It also highlights the optical sensor, blue LEDs, and that it is ambidextrous, something we will get into later on.
Around back we are presented with a variety of details and specifications, including the full range of DPI adjustments (500/750/1500/2500/3000), OMRON Switches (which are said to be rated for 5 million clicks), as well as an ambidextrous design. It’s worth noting that the mouse only features buttons on the left side, so left-handed users will lose out on that.
The box has a folding flap with velcro bits, and some promotional material for retail, and provides a nice window of the mouse. The inner carton is the only thing that we would say feels “cheap” and feels flimsy, which might be a problem in retail stores where lots of wear and tear happens.
The packaging is slightly better than something at this price normally would be, a recurring theme you will see as the review goes on.

Low Price Great Value.
Retailing at under $20 this mouse will be something many new PC gamers will try, thankfully this is not a let down and has a lot of value for the dollar.
