It is not often that we have the time to revisit and submit a follow-up to an earlier article, however, we were so impressed with pictures taken at the Winnipeg Jets/Buffalo Sabres NHL hockey game a few days back that we couldn’t resist. Setting the stage, we are in the best seats of our life at center ice and 11 rows back from the player benches.
Our second example is a series of eight which displays a bit more action as they go to the boards. Simply hover over the gallery pik to display the controls:

Last but not least, this video was taken as an MP4 file which is not the top resolution for the camera. Amazing quality!
Kudos Sony on a job well done! Too bad the camera is orange or it just might disappear from the wifes possession before long!
where can I buy an orange one? Sony.ca only offers the black and blue versions? Where is a good place to shop across the border? (I think from your pics that we live in the same area).
Canada doesnt have orange available and we knew that this would be the case for some time as it is the norm for new technology and products. Our TX30 was purchased at the link below, duties and customs included. Very reliable dealer!!!

Hey Les great review, I’m going to buy this camera for a cruise I’m going to in August. I would of however liked to have seen you take pictures from a real hockey team like the New Jersey Devils. Kidding, thanks again for the review.
Hi. What’s the battery life like? Keen to know if the touch screen is draining.
To be honest, the camera is in constant use and battery life hasn’t been an issue whatsoever.
