The days of air cooling are numbered in our opinion. The technology of thermal solutions in regards to AIO liquid cooling surpasses the air cooling market in not only performance but price as well.
Today we are going to be taking a look at Corsair’s fresh new addition to the cooling market, the H115i Pro. We are interested to see the difference in cooling from a 240mm rad to a 280mm one.
Packaging and Contents
When we look at a products packaging our first question is, does this really catch your eye? The H115i with its black and yellow along with greens and purples does just that. After opening this box we are very happy to see that every piece of this cooler is snugly fit inside of a molded cardboard box ready to be used.
Both the instruction manual and the warranty guide are multilingual with six languages including as you may have guessed, English. All the hardware that’s included is very straight forward with simplicity in mind. Right out of the box this radiator looks professional. The matte black with a reflective corsair logo is everything we look for in any radiator. The exact radiator dimensions for the tech people out there are : Length – 315mm Width – 143mm Height – 29mm(fans installed 56mm). The tubing consists of a rubber interior with a braided exterior to provide dual protection against anything looking to damage these babies. Each end of the liquid tubing has very firm plastic L brackets which means that there will be no issues with leakage. The actual pump of this cooler consists of a RGB logo on front with a sleek black face and a silver outlining. On the most important part of the cooler we have a very standard copper base with an already thermal pasted face. One thing we see for improvement here is the addition of extra thermal paste for people who like to switch out systems often. We are hoping for a very simple installation with no big issues.
