CLOSER LOOK
The Ring Style Presenter, despite its looks, is not a full-fledged mouse. It has the five buttons, and what looks to be a circular trackpad in the middle, but that is actually the blank button. Despite that, it has a slim, sleek exterior composed of a silver electroplated frame and rubber coating throughout:
The ergonomic curve makes slipping the unit onto a finger extremely smooth, and looking closely, it has a rubber comfort grip and a slide-in holding area for the wireless adapter behind the faceplate:
The top houses the microUSB input which is protected by a rubber shield. This covering is actually latched into the groove, so there is no chance of misplacing it as it will stay fastened to the device – a very thoughtful touch by Genius.
We also have the laser pointer here as illustrated by the lens hole:
Once plugged in, the blue LED indicator light will shine; when removed, the colour will reveal battery life as well as the on/off state.
The wireless adapter has a unique design, allowing you to see the tiny PCB from on side of the USB header:
Dear Deepak,
I bought the product 15 months ago, I used it about 10 times, and now I cannot charge it, when I connect the device, the blue light starts to flash. first fast, and after a time, slowly. The proble is that when I tried to use ot the last time, it doesn’t work, only works when it is connected. Do you have any recommendation for that?
Unfortunately Deepak no longer writes for us, I would recommend contacting Genius themselves here https://www.geniusnet.com/Genius/wSite/ct?xItem=16268&ctNode=91&mp=1
