EXTERIOR AND DESIGN
The Apotop Dw17 Wi-Reader Pro comes in a square frame with rounded edges – about the size of your palm – alongside a silver colour scheme:
At the top of the unit we have the Apotop branding as well as four LEDs – battery power, card reader, wireless, and power status. The battery LED indicates remaining power for both a connected device and the DW17 itself; hence it will fluctuate between the usual colours of green, orange, and red (full, medium, low), while the other indicators remain green and blue. It would have been a better addition if the colours were percentages or numbers instead.
On the bottom we have the model and serial numbers:

Finally, the left side and back of the unit are completely void, while the right has the 10/100Mbps ethernet port, micro USB input, a small reset hole, and the mode slider, which switches between battery charge mode, off/card reader mode, and wireless streaming mode (going from left to right):
