While having renowned air coolers in the V-series and Hyper-series, Cooler Master looks to add the same value in the form of liquid cooling. The AIO Seidon line has two new additions – the 120XL and the 240M.
The 120XL is an upgraded version of the 120M that was released a few months back. The XL has an extra 120mm PWM fan, a thicker 38mm radiator block (27mm for the 120M), and higher pump life expectancy of 70,000 hours, while retaining the same features as the 120M.
The Seidon 240M is the bigger brother of both the 120XL and 120M by an extra 120mm. While being 240mm, there is support for fans on only one side as it comes with two 120mm PWM fans. The CPU block for the 240M is the same as the 120XL and 120M, but with a more powerful pump life expectancy of 70,000 hours compared to the 40,000 for the 120M.
The added fans are sure to get some mileage as they are rated to go as high as 2400 RPM; however, they can be decreased all the way down to 600 RPM for a silent environment. The Seidon’s support Intel LGA 2011 / 1366 / 1156 / 1155 / 1150 / 775 and AMD Socket FM2 / FM1 / AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2. The 240M is retailing for $94.99 currently, so expect the 120XL to follow suit with a cheaper MSRP.
