The famed Batman Arkham series is getting a new title in its franchise: Batman: Arkham Origins. This game will be set in a time where Bruce Wayne is still quite young and inexperienced, and will be meeting many of the iconic villains for the first time. As can be seen from the Game Informer image the assassin Deathstroke will be making his debut.
A twist in the development of this game is that a new team will be creating it. That’s right! Rocksteady will not be involved in the development of this game; the torch will be passed on to Warner Brothers Montreal. The Montreal team will be using many of the tolls which Rocksteady has developed.
The game is set to be released on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U. The release date has currently been set for October 25, 2013.
For all of you handheld players Warner Bros. has you covered. The handheld game will be released on October 25, and will be called Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate. The game will be developed by Amature Studio.
