One of the most highly-anticipated releases for PC, GTA V is the latest installment of Rockstar’s long-running genre-defining open-world shooter, and it is their most graphically demanding title yet! with massive city that’s brought to life with immense detail.

We test on “Very High” with all “Advanced Graphics” and MSAA options turned off with FXAA enabled, at both 1080p and 1440p

With one of the newer PC games on the market, this card delivers quite well. At 1080p, were able to average just around 60 FPS, and at 1440p we’re averaging around 40 to 46 FPS.

Witcher 3

The Witcher 3 is definitely one of the most highly anticipated game releases this year, and as the follow-up to developer CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 2 – which was one of the most graphically intense PC game when it was released – it has some big shoes to fill.

We test on “High” and post-processing set to “High” with FXAA enabled, at both 1080p and 1440p.

Witcher 3 is a demanding title, it may be the most demanding title in our suite. That being said, we’re averaging around 17 FPS at 1080p, and around 13 FPS at 1440p. With a few tweaks to the settings in-game, you will find an excellent balance between performance and quality.

REPORT ANALYSIS AND FINAL THOUGHTS

Well after extensively testing the R7 370, we have to say we welcome it’s presence. It offers a great mix between performance and quality, and all for under $200. The look of the card is basic, no fancy colors or lights – just your straight forward graphics card. On the inside however, you are provided with decent performance. The overclock did very well and helped the performance of this card substantially, but at the cost of drastically increasing fan speed, and noise.

While Double Dissipation and Ghost Thermal 3.0 technologies provide adequate cooling, the noise of this card is much higher than we expected and would like.

While comparatively you could consider a GTX 950, but you may be hard pressed to find it below $200. That’s why this card is definitely your “go-to” option for any budget build where you want a dedicated graphics card.
