To go with such a prestigious peripheral, a proper gaming mousepad is necessary. To ease our speed addiction, we are testing out the Ladon Gaming Mouse Pad – Speed Edition. The middle size design mousepad (360 by 300mm) features plenty of room for your gaming mouse, regardless if it is the Level 10 M Hybrid Gaming mouse or not.

Just moving the mouse across the mousepad was almost exciting, the mouse moved with extreme fluidity and speed. Just to test the speed of the mousepad, we slid the mouse across your mouse pad (like you would with a hockey puck on ice), to which the mouse moved briskly and smoothly.

REPORT ANALYSIS AND FINAL THOUGHTS

The Level 10 M hybrid mouse is hands down the most intriguing, gorgeous and powerful mouse we have seen, that also includes a bunch of end-user features that makes our lives as gamers that much easier. Our gaming test for the hybrid mouse was simple, plug it in, and play World of Warcraft for a few hours. While the Blizzard game isn’t the most demanding of all computer games, it does attract gamers to play for hours on end, especially when caught in the middle of a raid with a pretty resistant guild. With a total gameplay of about eight hours over the course of a couple days, we were really impressed with not only the consistent performance of the mouse, but the overall comfort. There was no point in time in which our hands felt sweaty, awkward or uncomfortable in any sense. Playing the game almost felt different, in a good way that is hard to put into words. Almost in a way that it lets you game while not having to worry about the piece of technology you’re holding.

When we switched from using the Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS Dasher mousepad, we immediately noticed that we had to increase the DPI setting on the hybrid gaming mouse. This allowed for even more fluid motion and smooth transitions while in use. A possible suggestion to improve the feature set of the hybrid gaming mouse could be to add removable weights, allowing the user to pretty much have complete customization of the mouse, and maybe some more lighting effects would give it a bit more spark. With that being said, the suggestions are merely features that are not important to the overall function and design of the mouse, and it becomes quite hard to suggest any other possible upgrades when the mouse is already exceptional.

Thermaltake has done an exceptional job with the Level 10 M Hybrid Gaming mouse. Not only is it comfortable to use for hours on end, but it also features exceptional wireless and wired capabilities, as well as customizable options rarely seen on other gaming mice. Upon checking Thermaltake’s website, we can see that the mouse can be purchased for $109, and when checking Amazon, you can find it for as low as $85. With performance and features that match gaming mice of much greater value, the Thermaltake Level 10 M Hybrid mouse is definitely top notch in our books, and well deserving of Technology X’s Editor’s Choice award!
