The biggest feature of the Toughpower DPS G PSU that has us most intrigued is the ability to monitor and record power consumption. Thermaltake accomplishes this by used Smart Power Management (SPM), the video below gives you a quick insight as to it’s features:
SPM provides a great graphical user interface to allow you to monitor and record not only amperage, but wattage, efficiency, temperatures, fan speeds and cost. All of which can be monitored remotely via the website or the mobile app.
The mobile app for iOS is extremely quick to use and user-friendly. From the initial screen you can access a single comparison or a total analysis screen. The single comparison let’s you access a single PSU and compare various stats. The total analysis page lets you see all of your PSUs’ together and how they are functioning as a team.
To match the ability to keep tabs on your usage, you are also greeted with a 80 Plus Platinum efficiency that guarantees the PSU will deliver up to 91% efficiency.
Thermaltake lists the MSRP of this PSU to be $199.99, but if you head on over to Amazon, you can pick it up for $50 cheaper!
