BUILD
The In Win 509 was a very fun case to build. There was an amplitude of room to customize to our delight. We added three Cooler Master fans to encourage the airflow In Win boasts about. We decided to put one on the stern fan mount and two snugly mounted between the front and the back to evacuate as much hot air as possible. We connected our GPU radiator on the bottom next to the PSU with quite a bit of room for the power cables to run from the PSU to the cable management area. Our motherboard was screwed in place effortlessly with In wins motherboard stand-off screws. A couple pretty insignificant issues we had with the 509 were the rubber grommets and the two USB 3.0 connectors. When we were feeding the PSU cables through the rubber they weren’t seated very well and popped off way too easily. Our motherboard we used had only one slot for USB 3.0’s so we couldn’t take full advantage of both. Both the 2.5 and 3.5 mounted in the top bays screwed in nicely with the perfect amount of space to run the cables to where they needed to go. We liked the look of the optical bay empty to keep the sleek look on point. Our GPU fit almost too perfectly including the two cooling tubes running to the radiator on the bottom. The temperature management was amazing to say the least. We ran our system for about 3 hours straight with the temperature not going above 40 degrees Celsius! The mannerisms on this chassis really impressed us. The darker tint on the tempered glass lets you see only the illuminated items inside instead of being able to see everything. In Win’s convenient RGB logo on the front just put the icing on the cake of the 509.

The 509 is a great option for the gamer who wants more!
While I think it would be cool to see someone try and fit (3) 360 mm radiators in this chassis, judging by the internal layout installing one 360 mm radiator might be the only logical way to go for water cooling.
As installing more than one would see the others starved for adequate airflow (there doesn’t seem to be very much room in the front for decent airflow as it is).
What I pictured right off the bat would be to have either a thicker 360 mm radiator or a normal (30 – 45 mm) 280 mm radiator for the front area; possibly using the front as an output, and the other fan areas as intakes.
Just my .005 cents CAD
