Enermax Revolution XtII 750W PSU Unboxing & Overview

DESIGN OVERVIEW

The Rev X’t has a rough granulated finish with a black fan guard and the Enermax logo centered on the twister bearing fan. From here you can also see five plug ports. The three black ones specified for your drives and peripherals while the red GPU designated. As we mentioned earlier the 650 and 750 have two of these where the 450/550 only have one. The hardwired cords are designated for the Motherboard and CPU.

 As a 750W the Rev is your standard size PSU at 150(W) x 86 (H) x 160(D)mm, so ensure your chassis supports the size but overall is fairly standard. Around the backside you’ll notice the usual power switch as well as power cable port. However, under that you’ll notice to loops in the body. This is to house the power cable lock. A small metal frame that came in the accessories you may have been wondering what to do with earlier.

You won’t have to worry about accident unplugs if that is something that you have had to deal with in the past. Can’t say we have but hey, extra features are always great by us.Taking a look at the included cables you’ll notice that they are very limited compared to some PSU’s but so are the ports in which you’d fit them. Included with the Rev X’t is a 24Pin for the motherboard, a 4+4p for the CPU which can be split for 4 pin configs, 2 6+2P PCI-E, 2 Sata cables supporting 4 drives each and a 4p molex also housing 4 attachments plus a FDD.

A LOOK INSIDE

Enermax has used their own 140mm fan in this build and boasts the twister bearing with low noise and a long lifetime. The Fan also continues to run for 30-60 seconds after shut down to dissipate all the heat and ensure optimal care is taken of your PSU.

The inside is very clean and organized the fan pops off the two pin connector easily and you get a look at the inside. Enermax has used 100%  105C Japanese electrolytic capacitors to ensure maximum durability and stability.
