ANVIL STORAGE UTILITIES VER. 1.0.51 RC6
Anvil Storage Utilities is a powerful tool that is designed in to provide a simple means of assessing the read and write performance of a solid state drive.
To wrap-up speed testing, ASU shows consistent results for both 0-fill and incompressible data. By clicking on the benchmarks, or any pictures, a high res copy can be easier to view.
HD TUNE PRO VER. 5.00
HD Tune Pro supports performing secure erasure, running comprehensive error scans (including a review of a disk’s SMART health status), displaying read, write, and spin-up times and recording benchmark performance metrics.
As an added bonus we have the HD Tune Pro run a plethora of benchmarks and extra tests. These results are identical between the 480GB and 960GB flavours of the Crucial M500. We also see higher reads and writes here, and since ATTO tends to do the same, the results are confirmed for both benchmarking tools.
Amazing review Deepak. Must be good as you got linked by Engadget whereas…well…TSSDR never. eheheh.
Heh thanks Les appreciate it. Great 960GB review from yourself!
Can’t blame you two for the cheery mood! Both reviews are great, and I am very cheerful as well! 60 Cents/GB for a 3rd gen Marvel SSD, and at 960 GB capacity, means -for the first time- high-end rigs can be built without mechanical drives!
Too true Luay, too true!
What is it about SMART attributesAA and C4, new drive failing?!
I like this review of that powerful Crucial M500 480GB SSD
