Corsair H60 AiO Liquid Cooler Review

Today we are going to fix our gaze on Corsair’s H60 AIO CPU cooler. All over the internet you see custom cooling loops tied into systems with over the top components. These systems cost an arm and a leg to purchase as well as take tedious amounts of hours to set up perfectly. What we are looking at is a very affordable way to keep the most important piece of your PC cool without having to go through the trouble of measuring, cutting and estimating. Literally all you have to do to get the performance of custom loops is to screw eight screws in and turn the computer on. Corsair was also kind enough to set us up with two of their new 120mm magnetic levitation fans. This is very intriguing to us and we cant wait to get these puppies cooling!

Packaging and Contents

We used this cooler recently to showcase our Corsair Carbide Spec-04, so now we are going a little bit more in-depth. Our Corsair H60 came packaged in a pretty standard box along with some foam to keep the parts from banging around. An easy to read instruction manual as well as hardware for installation come in the rectangular cardboard carrier. Right out of the box we get the feeling of a well made cooler from how stable the connectors feel and how sturdy the rad metal isWhat really stands out to us is the sturdy rubber tubing. Unlike some coolers with the flimsy corrugated plastic, the H60 make the onlooker proud to own this piece of technology. Both the radiator and the enclosed 120mm rad fan are pretty standard with the max speed of the fan sitting at around 2000 RPM. Intel processors are supported as you may have guessed, however the H60 covers a handful of AMD processors as well. Originally, the copper plate came with a small square of thermal paste from the factory, but we wiped this off and applied our own to avoid any unnecessary risks. The main pump has a three prong plug which we shouldn’t have a problem with finding an extra fan/pump connector on our motherboard. One issue we had was the length of the power cable which could be shortened at least 5 cm. Overall we think that the H60 looks professional and feels strong and we cant wait to apply it in our Test Bench.
