ZOTAC is celebrating their 10th anniversary with new Limited Edition products, as well as the ZOTAC WORLD CUP invitational games. The product unveiling takes place at the Mira Hotel in Hong Kong, and features several limited special edition products from ZOTAC’s main product lines – graphics cards, mini PCs and SSDs. These limited edition products are unique in both design and performance, with performance levels greater than counterpart versions, as well as including new features. Also making its debut will be the long-awaited VR GO ZOTAC VR backpack.
According to Tony Wong, CEO of ZOTAC International, “I would like to acknowledge our staff’s effort in making this happen – both this event and the past 10 years. Since putting the name ZOTAC onto the things we make, we have never stopped finding ways to make it even better. Our ultimate vision is to put ZOTAC into every piece of technology we use.”
First up is the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 ArcticStorm Thermaltake 10 Year Anniversary Edition graphics card. ZOTAC collaborated with Thermaltake on design and engineering for this ultimate liquid-cooled graphics card. This graphics card is constructed on an entirely new PCB that delivers 16 power phases, as compared to the traditional 8 + 2 power phase configuration. This allows for much greater power regulation at higher clock speeds. Additionally, this limited edition graphics card provides support for dual BIOS, and enables BIOS switching via FIRESTORM, putting even more control into the user’s hands.
Kenny Lin, CEO and Chairman of Thermaltake, states that “It is a great honor to partner with ZOTAC to bring the ultimate thermal solution to the ZOTAC 10th Anniversary GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card. We look forward to more future opportunities to develop more exciting products together.”
Complementary to each ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 ArcticStorm Thermaltake 10 Year Anniversary Edition graphics card is the limited edition ZOTAC SLI HB Bridge. Based on NVIDIA’s SLI HB protocol, ZOTAC’s SLI HB Bridge allows for greater transfer bandwidth between graphics cards that are based on NVIDIA Pascal™ architecture.
Next up, from the Mini PC lineup, is the new 10 Year Anniversary Edition MAGNUS EN1080, which makes additional strides in second generation liquid cooling gaming PCs. This is the next evolution of ZOTAC liquid cooling solution, small form factor PCs. This is the market’s first mini PC to sport the GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card, providing superior entertainment and gaming experiences. The MAGNUS EN1080 is housed in a ZOTAC 10 Year special edition enclosure, and also features a SPECTRA lighting system on three of the mini PC’s sides. ZOTAC’s unique SPECTRA utility enables lighting customization, along with PC performance monitoring capabilities.
ZOTAC is also offering a 10 Year Anniversary Edition SONIX PCIe SSD, which now runs faster and brighter. The original SONIX SSD’s PCIe interface enables sequential read speeds of up to 2800 MB/s, and the ZOTAC 10 Year special edition improves that performance by a minimum of 10%. The 10 Year special edition also features LED lights in the housing that shimmer along with the drive’s activity.
The final item is an upgraded version of the ZOTAC VR GO Backpack. Originally introduced at Computex 2016, this latest version of the VR GO Backpack has a sleeker appearance, more user-oriented functionality, and outstanding VR performance. The new VR GO Backpack is more durable, lighter and more accessible. The unit’s performance is enabled via its incorporated GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, along with battery hot-swap capability. Cable management is simplified as the case and output connections are designed for hassle-free usage. USB and HDMI outputs are located at the top of the unit, and cabling is easily concealed when not in use.
