G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd., a world-leading producer of extreme performance memory and gaming peripherals, is announcing the release of two new additions to their RIPJAWS series of mechanical gaming keyboards. The feature-packed KM570 MX and the streamlined KM770 RGB are the latest G.SKILL mechanical keyboard offerings being announced in conjunction with Computex 2016.
The new KM570 MX is a single-color LED lighting mechanical gaming keyboard built with ease-of-use and durability in mind for daily working and/or gaming. The KM570 MX is constructed using German-made Cherry MX key-switches, and is offered in red, brown or blue, and with the durability of 50 million keypresses for years of comfortable typing use. The lighting customization and macro recording are built right into the hardware, eliminating the dependency on software to achieve the desired effects. With storage space for a complete profile, the KM570 MX is the ultimate keyboard for on-the-go use.
The KM570 MX also offers 7 different lighting effect presets, with the ability to customize brightness and speed, the ability to create your own per-key lighting patterns, and a great keyboard feature set to make life easier, such as dedicated volume control, built-in media control, n-key rollover & 100% anti-ghosting, a default 1000Hz polling rate, Windows key lock, and a long 2-meter braided USB cable. The KM570 MX is a great choice for a first Cherry MX mechanical keyboard, without any system or software compatibility issues.
The RIPJAWS KM770 RGB mechanical gaming keyboard is a revised, streamlined version of the KM780 RGB flagship offering. While retaining the brushed aluminum top-plate construction and same key features, the KM770 RGB has been reconfigured to a smaller footprint of a standard keyboard, and the mouse cable holder has been redesigned to fit underneath the keyboard, with cable grooves for simplified desktop cable management.
One major update to the KM770 RGB is a new LED lighting design that produces more vibrant colors than predecessor versions, and adds RGB customization to the MR/Mode keys, special hotkeys, and media control keys in the top row. Early adopters of the KM780 RGB mechanical keyboard can achieve the same RGB lighting in the top row keys by virtue of a firmware update. Also, with the new software update, both the KM770 RGB and KM780 RGB keyboards will now enjoy full RGB color support via a customizable color palette, as well as a fully customizable base color for the Ripple and Reactive lighting effects.
G.SKILL’s RIPJAWS KM770 RGB and KM570 MX mechanical gaming keyboards are anticipated to be available for purchase by Q3 of 2016, with flavors of Cherry Red, Brown and Blue through authorized G.SKILL distribution partners.
