G.Skill are proud to announce the new Trident Z and Ripjaws V DDR4 RAM with the Trident Z breaking the 4000MHz barrier. We have seen the new Trident Z DDR4 that was upcoming in this news article of ours Here. Following a press release from G.Skill we can finally see the specifications.
These new series will be arriving just in time for the release of the latest 6th generation Intel Core Processors and Z170 motherboards with updated performance specifications. To us this is more marketing for Skylake and we expect these kits to perform on X99.
The Trident Z is entering the market with their high end kit at an amazing 4000MHz, which raises the bar for other manufactures with validation on the ASRock Z170 OC Formula. These kits are built with highest-end Samsung IC memory chips in which we would expect to be able to tighten the timings up nicely for even more performance.
Built with exceptionally cherry-picked IC’s selected through a secret process developed from years of overclocking experience, Trident Z is the premier of extreme performance. The ranges are from DDR4-2800MHz – DDR4-4000MHz which is just amazing!
The new G.Skill Ripjaws 4 is easily breathtaking with not only performance but stylish looks. They come in five illuminating colors: Blazing Red, Steel Blue, Radiant Silver, Gunmetal Gray, and Classic Black.
The Ripjaws V series DDR4 memory will be available in kits of various configurations and capacities, comprising of 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB modules with performance ranging from the standard 2133MHz to staggering 3733MHz at ultra-low voltages. The kits have been rigorously tested and validated using the latest hardware from the top manufactures.
With the updated new specifications, you can unleash the power of your new Skylake-S or Haswell-E processor and bench or game hard. We look forward to seeing how both the G.Skill Ripjaws V and Trident Z perform in benchmarks over the coming months.
We are yet to find pricing details although the higher end kits wont come cheap as to be expected plus with the upcoming release of Skylake should drive down the price of DDR4 on the market.
