Thermaltake Tt eSports Shock Console Gaming Headset Review

As we have come to experience with Thermaltake and their gaming gear, they continue to push the bar with quality and entice us with visual stimulation. Today we have the privilege of looking at the Tt eSports Shock Console Gaming Headset.

The Shock family of gaming headset has covered all spectrums of these previously listed characteristics, from wireless options, to 7.1 3D surround, and various colour options. Today we will be looking at a more basic model of the Shock family which will give you a clear look into Thermaltake’s vision and standards.

PACKAGING & DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS

Shock’s gaming headset’s packaging definitely captivates you from front to back, and side to side. A quick glance shows the headset pictured on one half of the front and the other is a clear packaging that allows you to get an actual look at it, as well as shows you the optical decoder. Up to date consoles such as PlayStation 4, XBOX One and PC Gaming compatibility printed on the front show you this headset is ready to get to business.

Popping the top open and sliding out the contents you’ll get the headphones and decoder secured in the plastic packaging along with a manual, warranty booklet and a box containing a fiber optic cable, detachable microphone and USB micro cable.

The first thing you choose to grab are the headphones obviously, as we did. They are light, but not weak, they feel strong and rigid. They are matte black on the exterior with the interior sides basically being red minus black ear cushions. This red on black look makes the headphones really pop, giving it a slick professional look to them. This being the wired version of the Shock Console Gaming Headset it has a cord roughly 12 feet long from the decoder to the bottom of the left ear with the inline remote control (IRC) roughly two feet down from the headset.
