Zotac Shows Off ZBOX Sphere and nano – Computex 2014 Update

Small form factor PCs have become all the rage as of late and, considering their virtual complete silence and low heat, it only makes sense.  At Computex 2014 in Taipei this past week, Zotac was leading the way with their new ZBox Sphere and nano designs.

First up is the ZBOX Sphere O1520 which we believe has a very appealing look that breaks free of typical PC design. It contains an Intel Core 15-4200u CPU for speeds up to 2.6GHz, Intel HD 4400 Graphics,   a mSATA 6Gbps SSD and HDMI and Display ports.

With its simplistic design, opening and upgrading the ZBOX Sphere is very easy.  The ZBOX Sphere also has WiFi 802.11ac on board, Gigabit LAN as well as 4USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0 and even an SD card slot.

Up next was the much smaller ZBOX C1320 nano with an Intel Celeron N2930 CPU, Intel HD Graphics, support for a 2.5″ hard drive or SSD, as well as WiFi 802.11ac, 4 USB 3.0 ports Gigabit Lan, an HDMI and Display port.

Opening the unit to upgrade its components was quick and easy with the removal of 4 hand tightened screws.   Once again, this unit is completely silent and has very low heat compared to typical PCs, with comparable power.

Last but not least we wanted to throw in a shot of the Zotac GeForce GTX 780 AMP! Graphics Card… gotta love that orange with those triple fans!
