Luxa2 By Thermaltake TX-P1 and TX-200 Single and Dual Qi Enabled Wireless Charger Review

Our review today examines the new Luxa2 TX-P1 and TX-200 Wireless Qi Enabled Charging Receivers by Thermaltake.  The TX-P1 is a single wireless charger that allows for a second device being charged  simultaneously via cable and the TX-200 is a dual wireless charger that provides for the charging of two devices wirelessly and one via charging cable.

Both devices are Qi charge pack compatible and mobile devices must have the charge-pack installed for wireless charging.  For our review, we are using two Luxa2 Wireless Charging Receivers and Qi Charge Packs can be found at Amazon for about $10. For those fortunate enough to have Qi enabled devices, this purchase is not necessary.

LUXA2 TX-P1 5000 mAH WIRELESS CHARGING POWER BANK

The Luxa2 TX-P1 is constructed of plastic with a very realistic aluminum feel and serves two functions in one.  While it is a wireless charger that only requires one to place their phone on top of to charge, it is also a 5000mAH portable recharger and can recharge most Smartphones two or more times while on the go.

One can actually charge two phones as this device provides for both wireless and microUSB charging.  It has an on/off switch on the base for use on the road, LEDs which indicate charging level, has a two year warranty and can be found at Amazon for around $54.99.  We found installation very simple and charging on our Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was at about 20% per hour while seated on the rubberized charging ring.

We appreciate the simple design features as it fits in just about anywhere. Things we might change about this device would be the audible beep that occurs when charging connection is made between phone and charger.  We would eliminate it as it is already accomplished with an audible beep from our phone. As well, we would include a power adapter to connect the USB cable to as present charging can only be accomplished via the USB cable connected to the PC.

All in all we would definitely recommend the Luxa2 by Thermaltake TX-P1 Wireless Mobile Charger….if only to save the cord damage that we seem to always encounter.
