When it comes to chassis’ what is it that you’re looking for? Is it size, customization, noise levels or price? The list can go on as to what we, as individuals, are looking for in the perfect case. Especially considering that every one has their own perfect idea of what they are looking for in a chassis. Today we are going to take a look at the Eclipse P400S from Phanteks.
OVERVIEW
We all know Phanteks has been notorious for releasing fantastic chassis’ that never seem to disappoint. With the Eclipse P400S they have come close to a near bullseye. Boasting sound dampening capabilities, a three speed fan controller as well as a very attractive price tag we were more than excited to get working on this RGB LED-lit chassis.
PACKAGING
Phanteks hasn’t really made this a shelf-popping purchasing experience as the packaging is a simple cardboard box with black borders. The front showing the chassis as well as the branding of the chassis below that. The side is your information panel, this is where you’re going to find your case specs, expansions and bay count as well as your cooling options and component clearance sizes. The back-side of the box will show you the chassis with all of the included components and accessories giving you an idea of what you have to work with. As you can see the packaging just gives you the basic outlook of what to expect inside. No big flashy selling colours, but if you ordered this online you already know what to expect and the packaging doesn’t really deter you at this point.

Great Budget!
Phanteks' Eclipse P400S is a silent case with great advertising features, but there are a few hiccups when the build process commences. Overall a decent case.
